Picking up where we left off last issue the action continues at full pace in this latest instalment of this spy thriller. This issue keeps the momentum of the series going as Randall and Nika evade snipers and mech suited killers. Never letting up for a second, will Randall get a chance to catch his breath before one of his old rivals finally settles the score from decades past.
Thoughts…
This series really is keeping the foot on the pedal throughout, this latest issue ramps things up once again, his old foes are relentless and will stop at nothing to make sure Randall is in the ground. This issue does give more than just action though there is humour in the exchanges between characters as each tries to get to the Professor first. With this issue we learn a bit more about Randall’s past but he is still keeping things close to his chest. It serves to push things on a bit further and allows for hints of other things that might be going on. With this being the penultimate issue I thought it might end slightly differently but it leaves things open wide for the next issue which I am sure will be another top notch offering.
The art as ever is amazing, Deodato and Loughridge bring the pages to life and add a real sense of motion and danger to the action scenes throughout. There is some great work here and it really enhances the story
I liked this issue, its pacing is great and the story is really taking shape and leading us to an awesome finale I am sure. This is another solid 8 out of 10 issue, this series has remained consistent throughout its run and as always with AWA studio has not failed to impress
