Ever since the first solicitations for this series I was hooked and the series delivered everything that I hoped it would. We have been building up to this issue with a great deal of mystery and tension along the way and it all pays off here. Everything is laid out in this final issue in its full demonic detail. The ritual, the cultists and everything that has been leading up to the playing of the tape and opening the portal. This issue does not hold back at all, from the start we get revelations and all throughout they keep on coming.
What can I say without spoiling anything? Not a great deal story wise that is for sure. What I can tell you is that this is an awesome ending to the series. It hits all the right notes as it moves to that final crescendo. I think fans of the series will really like the way this issue completes the run and will have a few moments of shock along the way.
This whole series has been really well paced and extremely well written and illustrated. Hail Satan, no I say Hail Panosian and and Talajic, this is a great comic book series. The story is solid and well thought out with little hints along the way and the art style perfectly fits it as well from sober funerals to blood thirsty Satanic rituals this captures it all and gives us a fully formed and rounded story. I would love to see this become one of the series that is adapted for TV as it would work so well.
I have been a major fan of this series from day one, this series is the full package, great writing, great art, great covers everything that comic books were made for. This issue I am going to give a 9 out of 10 and it is the perfect ending to a devilishly awesome series.
