Three dead bodies lay in a rural morgue – all murdered in the span of three weeks. It’s up to two detectives from opposite sides of the tracks to determine who put them there, if the murders are linked and what, if anything, they have to do with a pair of dueling car dealerships. A dark comedy mystery thriller by Jeff McComsey (Grendel, Kentucky) and Mike Deodato Jr. (The Resistance) that is inspired by an outlandish true crime story, The Fourth Man story will keep you guessing till the last page.
Thoughts…..This series was a great read, from start to finish it felt like a movie or TV series. The story keeps you hooked right up to the end of the series and what an ending it is. The art style is signature Deodato, you know you are getting something fantastic when you see that name on the cover. This is a great crime/mystery series and comes highly recommended.
I would give this an 8 out of 10.
If you like this series I would recommend Hit Me, Bad Mother and Old Haunts
